WHITTINGTON, JESSIE

Died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1983, at his residence in Denham Springs. He was 77, a native of Franklin County, Miss. He was retired from Exxon Company USA.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Joel Lucas and the Rev. Delmus Harris. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.

Survived by his wife, Elna Harris Whittington, Denham Springs; a daughter, Wanda Daniel, Denham Springs; thee sons, Terry, Don and Tim Whittington, all of Denham Springs; three sisters, Estelle Causey, Meadville, Miss., Mae Belle Causey and Nellie Flynn, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, D.C. Whittington, Port Vincent; nine grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
