WOODSTOCK -- Funeral services for Jessie Carthell
Kornegay, 74, who died Monday at his residence, were to be at
2 p.m. today at Ada Chapel Bible Methodist Church.
The Rev. Amos Murphy and the Rev. Bennie Corley were to
officiate with burial in the church cemetery and Rockco Funeral
Home directing.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Essie Kornegay, Woodstock; three sons,
T.C. Kornegay, Arvell Kornegay, both of Woodstock, and Robert
Rotenberry, Woodstock; two brothers, Isaiah Kornegay, Vance,
and Sam Kornegay, Attalla; a sister, Mrs. Effie Murphy, Brent;
13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
