Jewel Luckey Parr, 88 of Magee, MS, passed away, Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Ms.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm, Friday October 22, 2010 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home, Magee, MS. Funeral Service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Smith County, on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Parr was born December 18, 1921 in Simpson Co. She was a long time resident of Magee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lige F Luckey and Emma Rainer Luckey; brothers, Clyde, Nelson, Gatha and Colon Luckey; sisters, Reba Warren, Thelma Jones, Pauline Frith; grandson: Joey Lee Jordan.
Jewel is survived by children, Jean Cabe, Myrtis M Jordan, both of Magee, Carolyn Jane Mc Williams, William Keith Parr and Wife Pam, both of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of neices and nephews
