MRS. JIM TWOMEY JAY STUDDARD
1906-1995

Funeral services for Mrs. Jim Twomey Jay Studdard, 88, of DeBerry, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 1995 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. The Rev. Don Scott and Rev. Jeff Hastings officiated. Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Studdard died Friday, June 9, at Panola General Hospital.

Born on November 23, 1906 in the Woods Community, she was the daughter of Robinson C. and Nellie Twomey Jay. Mrs. Studdard was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Waskom Chapter #812. She was employed at Panola General Hospital for 22 years.

Mrs. Studdard is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sibyl and Johnnie Mobley of San Antonio; one brother, Robert Jay of Dallas; grandson, Caddo Parish Studdard, III of Nacogdoches; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Steve Scott, Chester Ward Studdard, Dale Smith, James David Lawless, Robert Morris and Jack McJimsey.
