Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie E. ``Slick'' Hackney, 81, of Bosco, LA will be Monday, December 4, 2006 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Bruce Underwood. Interment will follow at Bosco Cemetery, Bosco, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mr. Hackney was born May 13, 1925 in Columbia, LA and passed away December 1, 2006 in Monroe, LA. Mr. Hackney was a retired oiler with T.L. James. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Hackney and a son, Jimmie ``Bosco'' Hackney.

Mr. Hackney is survived by his daughter, Brenda Hair and husband Willie; daughter-in-law, Joyce Hackney; 3 grandchildren, Ondra Gilley, Jeremy Hair and wife, and Jimmie Hackney; 2 great grandchildren, Kimberly Hair and MacKenzie Hair; sister, Earnestine Block.

Pallbearers will be Charles McMillan, Carl Hilburn, Lavelle Duffy, Gary Miles, David Boyd and Leon Spillers.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
