Jimmie Glynn Poole, Sr.

Services for Mr. Jimmie Glynn Poole, Sr., age 62, of Hebert were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 1996 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Julius Russell officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery near Clarks.

Mr. Poole, a retired oilfield construction worker, died Friday, July 19, 1996 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following an extended illness.

Jimmie Glynn Poole, Sr. was born on January 13, 1934 to the union of Sherwood A. and Eva McDonald Poole at Hebert. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church at Hebert and a member of Masonic Lodge #162 in Columbia.

Survivors include: his wife, Janiece Clark Poole of Hebert; his father, S. A. Poole of Hebert; two sons, Glynn Poole of Rayville and Clark Poole of Hebert; two daughters, Sheila Poole Hyde and Alison Poole Housley, both of Hebert; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
