Mrs. Jimmie Lee Madere, age 77 of Georgetown, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

Born Tuesday, May 5, 1936 in Georgetown, Louisiana, she was retired from Dresser Industries and was a member of Zion Baptist Church.

Mrs. Madere was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Etta Mae Capps.

Those left to cherish her memory include her Daughter, Janet Edwards, Georgetown, LA; Sons, Joey Madere and wife Jenny, Georgetown, LA, James Madere and wife Linda, Colfax, LA and Jason D. Madere, Georgetown, LA; Grandchildren, Jamie “Tow Head” Edwards, Tibby “Bubba” Edwards, Wayne Whatley, Martin Whatley, Sr. and Matthew Price; Great Grandchildren, Gracie, Maddie, Alana, Sierra, Martin, Koby and Dillan; Sister, Virginia Speaks Brown; Her Beloved Dogs, Pepper, Maggie, Jiggs, Buddy, Jack, Chopper, Snapper, Spud and Layla.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 01 at Zion Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM , and again on Saturday, November 02 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 02, 2013 at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Dick DeBusk and Rev. Scott Tilton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Jerry Winberry, Kevin Wilson, Lane Capps, Jamie Edwards, Bubba Edwards and Wayne Speaks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Petey Carnahan, Billy James, Robert Richards, Kenneth Autry, Jonathan Rachal and Dee Jones.
