JIM M. TURNER

MILBURN, OKLA.--Jim M. Turner, 60, of Milburn, Okla., died Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

He was born June 30, 1942, in Jackson, Texas, and moved to Salinas at an early age. He was a tire builder at Firestone Tire Co. for many years and later owned his own security company. He also was a rancher.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie K. Turner; stepfather, Warren Hearn; and brother, Billy.

Memberships: American Quarter Horse Association, Salinas Rodeo Committee, American Angus Association, Texas & SE Oklahoma Cattleman's Association, Freja No. 6 Danish Lodge, Dana No. 15 Danish Lodge and the Bullard Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Maren (Sorensen) Turner of Milburn; son, Jimmie K. Turner of Milburn; daughter, Dana (Greg) Eckels of Salinas; mother, Christine Hearn of Rowlett, Texas; brother, Robert Turner of Rowlett; and a granddaughter.
