Mr. Jimmy F. Ivey

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy F. Ivey, 63, were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at the Ott and Lee Chapel in Brandon. Rev. Herman Kelly and Rev. Larry Duncan officiated. Interment was made in the Glenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Richland.

Mr. Ivey passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2001 at his residence. Mr. Ivey was a native of Lake and had been a resident of Florence for the past 20 years, moving from Jackson. He was presently employed as Salesmanager of Capitol Beverage in Jackson and was a member of Goodhope Baptist Church in Lake. He was a Shriner and Mason and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include daughter, Melanie Harris of Decatur; son, Dewayne Ivey of Conehatta; sister, Betty Hollingsworth of Lake; two grandchildren and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Mary Ivey.

Pallbearers were Frank Drennan, Mike Drennan, Gene Sheriff, Lloyd Ashley, Vick Pardue and Ron Rushing.

Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon was in charge of arrangements.
