FOREST -- Jimmy Joiner, 50, a retired egg farmer, died of cancer Sunday at his home.

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home with burial in Faulkner Cemetery in Morton. Visitation is 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Joiner was a Louisiana native. He moved to Forest 29 years ago from Leake County. He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include: wife, Brenda; daughters, Susan Wadsworth of Forest and Teresa Wonder of Virginia; sons, Jimmy Joiner Jr., Jason Joiner and John Gilmer, all of Forest; sister, Laverne Barrett of Carthage; brothers, Joe Joiner and Roy Joiner, both of Harperville; and five grandchildren.
