Jo ``Jackie'' Amoss

CHANDLER -- Services for Jo ``Jackie'' Amoss, 87, Chandler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Weems officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Amoss died April 17, 2008, in a Tyler hospital.

She was born Jan. 26, 1921, in Henderson County to the late William LaFaris Gunnels and Emma Martha Edith Teet. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and lived in Chandler for 40 years. She was a homemaker, a caregiver and a member of West Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, O.M. Amoss, Chandler; sons, Danny Grissom, Chandler, Ben Bearden and James Bearden, both of Brownsboro; daughters, Sue Kidd Steding and Molly Lummus, both of Chandler; brother, A.C. Gunnels, Elmo; sisters, Imogene Featherson, Athens, Zeffie Reep, Chandler, and Betty Meador, Mabank; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
