Joe A. Causey, 61, of Sunflower died of heart failure December 22, 2001 at Grenada Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral services were held Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. at Mortimer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville. Rev. Arthur Scott was the officiating minister. Mortimer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Causey was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Causey.
He is survived by his daughter, Myra Thomasson of Greenville; son, Thomas Causey of Greenville; sisters, Lela Dunn and Dorothy Ludke, both of Sunflower; brother, Henry Causey of Sunflower; and two grandchildren.
