Joe Allen Lee Sr., 59, of West Street, a retired printer for the Mississippi Department of Human Services, died of heart failure Monday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.

Graveside services are 1 p.m. today in McNutt Cemetery at Schlater. Visitation is 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. today at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood.

Mr. Lee, a Schlater native, was a graduate of Minter City High School. He had worked for Baff Printing Co. in Greenwood. He was a former resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., and had lived in Jackson 12 years.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon Smith Lee of Colorado Springs; sons, Joe A. Smith Jr. of Columbus and John Lee and Tommie Lee, both of Greenville; daughters, Joy Ann Lee and Lisa Deherrer, both of Colorado Springs, and Tina Marie Lee of Statesville, N.C.; sister, Estelle Lee Peacock of Schlater; and five grandchildren.
