SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Mr. Joe Bill Alexander, 66, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 1996 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Scott, pastor of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn in Ruston, La.
Funeral home visitation will be Saturday, March 2 until service time.
Mr. Alexander died Thursday, February 29, 1996 at Lagniappe Hospital. He was born in Shreveport where he has resided most of his life. Mr. Alexander was an electrician and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie C. Alexander and brother, Jerry Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie E. Alexander of Shreveport; mother, Sue Bell Alexander of Simsboro, La.; one sister, Patricia A. Wynne of Simsboro, La.; two brothers, Paul Alexander of Minden, La. and Ben Alexander of Simsboro, La.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Martinson, Randy Mayberry, Jimmy L. Traylor, Jim Boyce, John Wynne, Mike Wynne, Scott Brooks and George Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Kelly, Doug Neary and Virgil McLendon.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Christian's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
