JONESVILLE -- Funeral services were to 2 p.m. today in the Good Road Pentecostal Church for Joe C. Bass, 85, of Jonesville with the Rev. W. D. Thompson, Rev. Bill McLain and Rev. Everett Mayo officiating.

Burial was in Heard Cemetery at Manifest under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Bass died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday in Catahoula Parish Hospital after a short illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Cockerham of Jonesville; two brothers, S. G. Bass of Jonesville [only one named]; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
