Joe Wilson Parker Sr.
NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Joe Wilson Parker Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis with the Rev. Charles Bates officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery, Chopin.
Parker, 75, of Derry died Saturday May 22, 1993, in Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home.
He was a native of Sikes. He was a farm equipment salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Gloria Parker of Derry; seven sons, Harace [sic Horace] Joseph Parker, Joe W. Parker Jr. and Roy Joe Parker, all of Bossier City, Ray Melton Parker, Jesse J. Parker and Gene Wilson Parker, all of Natchitoches, and Leonard Herman Parker of Derry; one daughter, Earlene Craig of Zwolle; one sister, Emma Gibbs of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, John M. Parker of Elizabeth; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Berry, Jason Parker, Kevin Parker, Vince Parker, Stephen Parker and Bradley McDonald.
