JOEL B. LEE

The death of Joel B. Lee, age 49, occurred at his home in the Cleveland section Monday, January 5, following a fall which he sustained a few days before.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Primitive church in Smithfield conducted by Elder J. T. Lewes and the Rev. L. E. Godwin. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, who was Miss Lina Strickland before her marriage, and by six children as follows: Mrs. Bob Matlin of Four Oaks, Rt. 3, Gobel Lee of Raleigh, Folden, Ruth, Blanche, and Duke Lee.
