John Amberg

OLLA -- Funeral services for John Amberg, 69, of Olla were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Selma Methodist Church in Georgetown with the Rev. M. L. Davis officiating.

Burial was in the Starks Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Cody Amberg of Olla; one son, James Amberg, Georgetown, one step-son, Jim Ray Cody of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Harter of Olla, Mrs. Frances Peregeo of Shreveport, and Mrs. Cherrie Jackson of Sulphur; one step-daughter, Mrs. Curtis Keen of Shreveport; seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
