JOHN AUSTIN

Oak Grove, La., April [1]4. -- (Special) -- Funeral services for John A. Austin, 74, of Oak Grove, who died Saturday in a clinic here, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Catron-Gay Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove.

The Rev. M. Neatherly will officiate at the services and interment, under the direction of Catron-Gay Funeral Home, will follow in the Kilbourne Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Austin; six sons, Monroe Austin, of Jonesboro, Bill Austin, of Monroe, Riley Williams, also of Monroe, Johnny Williams, of Hamburg, Ark., Stafford Williams, with the army in Japan, and Joe Williams, of Oak Grove; 10 daughters, Mrs. Viola and Mrs. Rena of Red Cross, La., Mrs. Pearl Martin, of Sicily Island, Mrs. Johnnie Lee Evans, of Monroe, Mrs. Lucille Hanson, of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Lela Ashley of Oak Grove, Mrs. Evie Williams, of Eudora, Ark., Mrs. Elva Newton, of Lisbon, Mrs. Lillie Mae Stevenson, of Monroe, and Mrs. Betty Jean Sullivan of Lake Providence.

JOHN A. AUSTIN

Funeral services were held from the Catron-Gay chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for John A. Austin,74, of Oak Grove, who died Daturday at the Everett-Biggs clinic here.

The Rev. M. Neathery officiated at the services and interment followed in the Kilbourne cemetery under the direction of Catron-gay Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie; two sons, Monroe of Jonesboro and Bill of Monroe; four step-sons, Riley and Joe Williams of Oak Grove, John Williams of Hamburg, Ark. Stanford Williams U.S. Army, Japan; four daughters,Mrs. Viola Powell and Mrs. Rena Pieraux, Red Cross, Mrs. Pearl Martin, Sicily Island, Mrs. Johnny Evans, Monroe; six step-daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hanson, Beaumont,Texas, Mrs. Lela Ashley, Oak Grove; Miss Evie Williams, Eudora, Ark., Mrs. Eva Newton, Lisbon, Mrs. Lillie Mae Stephenson, Monroe and Mrs. Betty Jean Sullivan, Lake Providence.
