J. B. Abrams Of Sikes Dies In New Orleans
J. B. Abrams, 40 years, 1 month and 23 days old, prominent merchant of Sikes, died in a New Orleans hospital Tuesday afternoon after an illness of several months.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella [sic Etta] Crain Abrams, and one son and two daughters, Trice Abrams, a student at L. P. I., Doyle, age 11, and Donnis, age 6 months. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Abrams of Sikes; two brothers, W. C. and J. I. Abrams; two sisters, Mrs. G. E. Richardson of New Orleans and Mrs. Charlie Thompson of Sikes.
Interment will be in the Sikes Cemetery at 10 o'clock a.m. Friday, Rev. C. B. Gates conducting the services.
