Milam

J. B. Milam, 88, of Ruston, died early this morning following a long illness. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Merlin Merrill offiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of Ruston.

He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and former owner and pharmacist of Milam Drug, a graduate of Mississippi State, member of the Ruston Rotary Club and registered pharmacist since 1924.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Milam, Ruston; one daughter, Elaine LaRue; one son, Don Milam, both of Ruston; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Gatlin, Mrs. Nell Parker, both of Jonesboro, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
