John Berry Killingsworth

(ROCKFORD) Services for John Berry Killingsworth, 84, of Rockford were Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Richie officiating. Burial was at Randolph Memory Gardens.

Mr. Killingsworth died Saturday, May 12, at Veterans Hospital in Montgomery.

A Chilton County native, Mr. Killingsworth was born May 7, 1917, son of Henry and Clara Robertson Killingsworth. He was an Army veteran, a self-employed carpenter, and a member of Wayside Baptist Church in Coosa County.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Adair Killingsworth of Rockford; three daughters, Linda Sue Pike of Roanoke, Peggy Bell of Alex City and Sherry Killingsworth of Villa Rica, Ga; two sons, Johnny Killingsworth of Ashland and Roger Killingsworth of Villa Rica; two sisters, Mertie Cullars and Mae Killingsworth, both of Alabama; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Roger Killingsworth, Johnny Killingsworth, David Pike, Teddy Freeman, Mike Heard and Mike Potts.

Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
