JOHN CASS

Funeral for John LeRoi (Roy) Cass, 73, of 3319 SW Water St., will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at J. P. Finley and Son.

Mr. Cass, a retired drug salesman for Northwestern Drug Co., died at a local hospital Thursday. He was born Feb. 12, 1891, in St. Louis, Mo., moving to Spokane in 1905. He was graduated from Gonzaga University and then employed by the Spokane Drug Co. before moving to Baker in 1921, where he was affiliated with Blumauer-Frank Drug Co.

After World War II, he joined Northwestern in Portland, retiring in 1958. He was a member of El Katif Shrine of Spokane.

Surviving are the widow, Lana Cass, Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Cass Holland, Portland; stepdaughter, Mrs. V. J. Benoe, Bend; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that any remembrance be in the form of contributions to the Shriner's Hospital.
