McCarty Rites Held
FOREST -- Funeral services for John C. McCarty, 84, were held from the Piney Grove Methodist Church, Sunday. Interment was in the Piney Grove Cemetery with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
McCarty died Friday in the Scott County Hospital in Morton.
He is survived by two daughters, Miss Bell McCarty, Forest, Mrs. Bonnie Garvin, Baskin, Louisiana; three sons, Belton McCarty, Jackson, Bennie McCarty, Forest, Berlie McCarty, Brandon; twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
