John C. Slaughter

MANY -- John C. Slaughter, 59, died Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Willis Greer and the Rev. Buddy Greer officiating. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Johnny A. Slaughter of Many and Jerry L. Slaughter of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Fredia Walker of Nederland, Tex.; four brothers, Riley Slaughter of Dodson, Taft Slaughter and Teves[s] Slaughter, both of Hornbeck, and Woodrow Slaughter of Robiline [sic Robeline]; two sisters, Mrs. Lovie Roger[s], and Mrs. Golda Mae Stroud, both of Many; and five grandchildren.
