Services for John Clyde Hudgins, Sr, age 97, of West Monroe will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2003 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe Chapel with Rev. Lee Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Hudgins died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Glenwood Hospital.

Mr. Hudgins was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years; Ruby Irene Johnson Hudgins & a son; John Clyde Hudgins, Jr.

Mr. Hudgins leaves behind three children: Gwen Lynch of West Monroe, Sheri Gross and husband Ron of Bucksport, ME, and Bill Hudgins and wife Pat of West Monroe; grandchildren: Sandra King, Debbie Fields, Linda Hudgins, Wayne Hudgins, Jackie Cutler, Karen Brooks, Jonathon Hudgins, Marc Hudgins, and Becky Winslow; great grandchildren: Trenton and Christian Winslow, Travis King, Tiffany Nicholson, Tommy King and Sean Payne.

Pallbearers will be Marc Hudgins, Wayne Hudgins, Jonathon Hudgins, Max Johnson, Tony Jones, Lance Johnson, Steve Johnson, and Guy Lynch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Lynch, Jim Nelson and Doug Nelson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
