John Delbert Jones

GOLDONNA - Services for John Delbert Jones will be at 2 p.m. today in Goldonna Baptist Church with the Rev. Doyle McGrew officiating. Burial will be in Goldonna Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Jones, 74, of Goldonna died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, in LSU Medical Center, Shreveport.

He was retired from L&A Kansas City Southern Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Goldonna Baptist Church, was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Goldonna Lodge and a member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Brian Jones of Shreveport; three daughters, Brenda Wells of Goldonna, Sharon Jones of Winnfield and Lisa Jones of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Olan Jones and Rodger Jones, both of Dodson; two sisters, Earline Driskill of Tyler, Texas, and Laverne Copeland of Dodson; and one grandson.

Friends may call from 12 noon until time of services today in the church.
