John Sommers
John Dennis Sommers, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, died Friday at a Tuscaloosa hospital. He was 40.
Sommers was a native of Demopolis and a resident of Greensboro, Ala.
Survivors include his father, John Curtis Sommers of Linden; a son, Jonathan Brian Sommers of Demopolis; a daughter, Ashley Brooks Sommers of Smithville, Miss.; a sister, Linda Earl of Salt Lake City; and a brother, Barry Sommers of Tuscaloosa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden. A graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Linden Memorial Park.
