John Ingouf

John Dewey Ingouf, 76, of 302 E. Washington, died Sunday in Highland Hospital after a brief illness.

A native of Mansura, he had lived in Shreveport 55 years. Mr. Ingouf was building supervisor for St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Dr. James Taylor, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ingouf is survived by his widow, Mrs. Blanche Ingouf of Shreveport; a son, John E. Ingouf of Shreveport; two brothers, Edward J. Ingouf and Alphonse J. Ingouf, both of Shreveport; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be W.A. Kennedy, Courtney Allgood, O.K. Brock, K.H. Horton, N.L. Hudson, Robert Shaw, C.R. Pugh and Ed Moon.
