John Dewitt Lee Rites Tomorrow
Services for John Dewitt Lee, 77, will be held from Mt. Pisgah Baptist church at 10 a.m. tomorrow with the Rev. J. C. Sansing officiating and Williams and Lord directing. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lee died at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital yesterday at 1 p.m. He was a native of Carroll County and a retired farmer. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Lee, Greenwood; seven daughters, Mrs. Ed Counts, Mrs. Clyde Watson and Mrs. Randall Makamson, Itta Bena; Mrs. William Carner and Mrs. Harry Mohley, Greenwood; Mrs. J. C. Alexander, Meridian and Mrs. J. C. Richards, Glen Allan; four sons J. T. Lee, Schlater, R. L. Lee, Swensboro, Ky.; William B. Lee, Nashville, Ind.; and James Lee, St. Louis; 41 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: James Richards, John Counts, Clyde Watson, Charles Watson, Joe Lee, and John Lee.
The body will be at home, 103 Moore Street, until time for services.
