John Egguart Taylor, 75, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at home. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Stringer Family Funeral Services of Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County. He was a heavy equipment operator until becoming disabled 28 years ago. Mr. Taylor was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Taylor.

Survivors include: sons, John Allen Taylor, Jerry Taylor and Jackie Taylor all of Crystal Springs and Randy Taylor of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Tammy Nelson of Hazlehurst; brother, Allen Taylor of Magee; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
