John Parker
RAYVILLE (Special) -- Funeral for John H. Parker, 77, Rayville farmer, was scheduled to be held at 3 p.m. today at Mulhearn Funeral Home here with the Revs. H. L. Weaks and Pat Morris officiating.
Mr. Parker died in a Monroe hospital Sunday after a short illness. Burial was to be at Rayville Masonic Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow; three sons, Girdie Parker, Rayville, Willie Parker, Midland, Tex., and Garland Parker, Elizabethton, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. W. C. King Sr., Mangham, Mrs. Gaio Gilmore and Mrs. Clyde Middleton, both Rayville; a brother, Joe Parker, Jonesboro, 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Named pallbearers were James Johnston, Walter Bozeman, Earl Medlin, Elmer Norman, William McCullough and Ed Thompson.
