Jackson Rites Set Today

Funeral services for John H. Jackson, 56, of 605 Government St., will be held today at 2:30 p.m. from the Rabenhorst Funeral parlors. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial park, with the Rev. Lewis N. Stuckey officiating.

He died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday, at Our Lady of the Lake Sanatariue [sic Sanitarium], after a week's illness and following an operation.

Formerly of Gloster, Miss., Jackson lived here for the past 26 years. An employe of the Standard Oil plant, he was also a member of the Methodist church, the American Legion and Lodge 872, F. & A. M.

He is survived by his widow, the former Leontine Menier Notler, and one son, John H. Jackson, Jr.
