John H. Gaar

John Henry Gaar, 69, a Fort Worth, Tex., resident who formerly lived in Shreveport, died Tuesday in a Fort Worth hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at Moore's Funeral Home in Fort Worth today at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Fort Worth.

Mr. Gaar was a native of Dodson and had lived in Homer and in Shreveport for several years. He was a retired division manager of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. of Fort Worth.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe Goetz of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Avice Kwasnik of Shreveport; two brothers, Glenn Gaar of Shreveport and Blanchard Gaar of Salt Lake City, Utah; and two grandchildren.
