KELLEY, JOHN H.

Died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 1981, at Bayou Sorrell. He was 74, a native of Bayou Chene and a reside[nt] of Bayou Sorrell.

Visiting at Beam of Life Tabernacle, Bayou Sorrell, from 11 a.m. Thursday to 4 p.m. Friday. Religious services at 4 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial in Protestant Cemetery, Plaquemine.

Survived by six daughters, Annie Higgins, Jeanerette, Mary Kelley, Plaquemine, Verlie Pierre, Tickfaw, Elsie Mott, Mamie Kelley and Helen Henson, all of Bayou Sorrell; seven sons, Nelson, Acie, Louis, Vories, Harold, Hubert and James Kelley, all of Bayou Sorrell; 61 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Ashley Kelley; a son, Arthur Kelley; and a daughter, Lois Kelley.
