John Kovac Jr.

Funeral services for John Kovac Jr. age 87, of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held 2pm Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at Kilbourne First Baptist Church, Kilbourne, Louisiana with Rev. Bernard Duchesne officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Visitation will be at Cox Funeral Home till 9pm Tuesday and Wednesday till noon.

Mr. John Kovac Jr. died Monday, November 24, 2003 , at the West Carroll Care Center, Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Mr. Kovac is preceded in death by his father and mother; John Kovac Sr. and Emily Stimac Kovac.

Surviving family members are; his wife, Mrs. Lula Elizabeth of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Daughter; Betty Philley of Dallas, Texas. Son; Bobby R. Kovac of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Son; Jimmy Lavell Kovac of Charlotte, North Carolina. Daughter; Janice Neal of Shreveport, Louisiana. Two brothers; Joe Kovac of Cleveland, Ohio and Frank Kovac of Woodward, Oklahoma. Three sisters; Mary Locknar of Russellville, Arkansas. Lilly Ainsworth and Josephine O'Neal, Both of Oak Grove, Louisiana. 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Robinson, Kevin Ray Kovac, Douglas Ainsworth, John Thomas Philley, Bud O'Neal and B. C. Haley.
