J. L. WHITTEN

J. L. Whitten, 70, of Start, died at his home Sunday at 4 a.m. The funeral was held in the Methodist church in Start Monday at 10 a.m. Interment was in the New Salem cemetery.

Mr. Whitten is survived by nine sons as follows: F. T. [sic F. P.], T. B., O. A., E. J., J. L., M. O., L. L., A. E., and M. L. Whitten, and one daughter, Mrs. Dottie Taylor.
