John Leland Halford

LAUREL -- Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home chapel for John Leland Halford, 50, of Gautier, formerly of Laurel and Jasper County, who died Thursday night in Pascagoula.

The Rev. Artis Brewer will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Jasper County.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Halford of Oxnard, Calif. and Rebecca LeVesque of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four brothers, Gredell Halford of Billings, Mont., Walter Lavon Halford of Montpelier, Vt., Houston Halford of Alexandria, La. and James Allen Halford of Hutchinson, Kan.; six sisters, Mrs. Zelma Ryan of Center Point, La., Mrs. Lanet Foster of Millbrook, Ala., Mrs. Barbara Lee Ishee of Laurel, Mrs. Betty Lou Brood of Gautier, Mrs. Mary Edith Turner of Pasadena, Tex. and Mrs. Leora Hendrickson of Kearney, Neb.; and two grandchildren.
