RAYVILLE (Special) -- Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today for John Lindsey Whitten, 63, of Start at Start Methodist Church in Start with the Rev. Joe Way officiating.
Burial will be in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Rayville Funeral Service.
Mr. Whitten died late Friday night at the Fort Root Hospital in Little Rock, Ark., after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include five brothe[rs], Burris Whitten, Start, Ezra Whitten, and Lillian Whitten all of Start, Mayo Whitten, Ruston, and Lonzo Whitten, Borger, Tex.
Pallbearers will be Carl Copeland, Jeff Davis, Ovin Hardwick, Cole Davis, Theo Griffin and Cecil Watts.
