Funeral services for John Lloyd Nix, 7 1/2-month-old son of Sgt. and Mrs. J. C. Nix of Lubbock, Texas, will be held at the Rose Neath chapel at 10 a.m. today.
Young Nix died in a hospital in Lubbock at 4:20 a.m. Saturday.
The Rev. Loy Baird, pastor of the Barksdale Baptist church, will officiate at the services and burial will follow in the Wallace cemetery, near Mount Pleasant. Additional services will be held at 1 p.m. at the cemetery.
Besides his parents, the infant is survived by two sisters, Linda and Marsha Sue Nix; one brother, James C. Nix, Jr., and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Cooper of Bossier City.
