John Luther Abrams
(1923 - 2011)

John Luther Abrams, 87, retired from the Navy Reserve, went home to his Father on Sunday, April 17, 2011.

Inurnment: 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 25, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.

He devoted 21 years to his country, as a veteran of World War II, serving throughout the Pacific theater. He also spent 20 years with Xerox as a regional distribution manager.

He was predeceased by his father, George; mother, Lottie; and one sister, Ann Sleeth.

Survivors: Wife, Mary Grace; sons, Tom (Katie), Ronny (Denise) and Donny; granddaughter, Alana Abrams; stepgrandchildren, Peter Case and son, Lucas, and Paige Case; brothers, Paul and Bobby of Louisiana; sisters, Goldie Vaughan and Marie Decker of the Metroplex.
