Worker at Camp Near Homer Is Instantly Killed in Quarrel

John Miller was instantly killed Saturday morning at Homer in the West End camp of that place. While most of the details are missing, he evidently had become involved in a quarrel with his partner over some detail of the little restaurant which they operated in the camp.

Miller was shot just under the left arm, the bullet entering the lungs and penetrating the heart. There were no eye-witnesses to the trag[e]dy, and the details leading up to the shooting are very meagre. His body will be held in Homer until the arrival of the man's wife from New Orleans.
