John Mack McCarty

Services for John Mack McCarty, 90, Decatur, were held Wednesday, December 11, at 10:30 a.m. in Oakland Baptist Church. The Rev. Gerald Holt and Rev. Mark McDonald officiated. Burial was in the Church cemetery.

McCarty, a farmer, died Monday, December 9, in Rush-Newton Hospital. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church for approximately 70 years and was a Deacon.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Euple Graham of Decatur.

Pallbearers were Derwood and Johnny Munn, Willie Johnston, Clark Johnson, Rufus Rigdon and Willis Thorne.
