John Melton Miller Sr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for John Melton Miller Sr., 69, who died Sunday, November 7, 2004 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Father Gary Schexnayder will officiate for the services. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata. The family request visiting hours are observed on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gotreaux Miller of Crowley; one son, John Miller Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Helen Dartez and Melissa Miller, both of Crowley and four grandchildren, Merlin Dartez Jr., Kelli Dartez, Hannah Miller and Kaitlin Miller.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Thibodeaux Miller and his father John Louis Miller.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Duhon Funeral Home.
