JOHN PAULEY DIED OF HEART ATTACK

Cross Roads Planter Drops Dead On Sunday As He Entered His Home

John Pauley, well known planter of the Cross Roads community dropped dead Sunday afternoon at 4:30 P.M. just as he had stepped up on his front door steps. Members of his family rushed him in the house but death followed immediately after. His death was attributed to heart attack.

Funeral services were held at the family home at 2:30 P.M. Monday with the Rev. J. D. Kitchingham, pastor of the Columbia Baptist Church in charge of the services.

Mr. Pauley came to this country many years ago. He is a native of __enville, Mo.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eula Pauley; eight sons, Elmer Pauley of Sikes; Lawrence, Frank, Clyde, Henry, Melvin, Elvin, and G. W. Pauley, all of Caldwell parish; and two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Williamson of Clarks; and Mrs. Ethel Mae McClary of near Grayson.

The funeral was conducted by the Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.
