John Penrod

John P. Penrod of Tucson, Ariz., died Jan. 12, 2014, in a local hospice facility.
John was born in Germany on July 28, 1954, son of Mary and Marshall Penrod, and he grew up in Greenville. He was a former member of the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was a construction project manager who worked in various countries as well as the United States and retired from Kellogg Brown & Root and Chicago Bridge & Iron Company.
John is survived by his loving wife Linda; mother, Mary Penrod of Greenville; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Ed Collier of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Alan Jordan of Lindale; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kristin Penrod of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Katherine Penrod of Minneapolis, Minn.; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Christina Martinez of Tucson, Ariz.; and son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Emily Penrod of Minneapolis, Minn.; five grand-kids, one great-grandchild.
John is preceded in death by his father, Marshall J. Penrod.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 4 p.m., at Marana Mortuary Cemetery in Marana, Ariz.
