Mr. John P. Cicero
SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. John P. Cicero, 70, died at his residence on November 9, 1990 after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 1990 at St. John Berchmans Cathedral. Officiating will be Msgr. Earl V. Provenza, V. F. Burial will be at Forest Park West under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Marshall Street.
Mr. Cicero was a resident of Shreveport for 45 years. He was an owner of a retail business for 35 years and an office manager for Master Plumbing Co. for eight years. He was a member of St. John Berchmans Cathedral. He was also a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Bertie Erskins Cicero of Shreveport; one son, Ronald Cicero of Shreveport; two daughters, Sharon Cicero of Shreveport, Deborah and husband, Mark Pfeffer of Anchorage, Ak; four sisters, Josie Catanese and Rose Lafoe of Shreveport, Mary Cicero and Grace Dunn of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three brothers, Dominic and Charles Cicero of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Frank Cicero of Little Rock, Ark.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Larry Cicero, Sam Francis Cicero, Charles Lafoe, Jerry Erskins, Robert Erskins and Bruce Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Master Plumbing employees.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. Richard K. Barnett and staff. They would also like to thank the nurses of Schumpert Hospice.
