PRESTRIDGE RITES

OLLA, La., Jan. 8. -- (Special) -- The funeral and interment of J. Q. Prestridge, prominent citizen of LaSalle parish, were held at Pinehill cemetery here, with Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Mr. Prestridge was a former Monroe resident but had resided for many years at Olla. His death was not unexpected, as he had been ill for several months.

He is survived by two sons and three daughters: R. E. Prestridge, Olla; Quincy Prestridge, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Lizzie Brooks, Olla; Mrs. Bell Ritzelle, Clarks; and Mrs. Julia Niceler [sic Neislar], Minneapolis, Minn.
