John Raynard
John Raynard, an aged Mt. Pleasant community resident, died Monday afternoon from an apparent heart attack while mowing the yard of a neighbor, it is reported by the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office.
Mr. Raynard was a native of the northeast section of the country, but had been a resident of Caldwell Parish for several years. He was married to the former Mildred Strange.
At the time of going to press, funeral arrangements were incomplete but would be under the direction of the Riser & Son Funeral Home, Columbia.

Services for John J. Raynard, 81, of Columbia were held last Wednesday in the chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home here with the Rev. George Bonner officiating.
Burial was in Welcome Home cemetery at Grayson for Mr. Raynard, who died Monday evening near his residence after an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Strange Raynard of Columbia; two stepsons, Jerry Dugan of Columbia and Maurice Grossen of Eros, and two grandchildren.
