John R. Higdon

WINNFIELD -- Funeral services for John R. Hidgon [sic Higdon], 56, of Dodson, were at 10 a.m. today at Sanders Assembly of God Church here with the Rev. Billy Lowery officiating.

Burial was in Hurricane Creek Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Hidgon [sic Higdon] died Tuesday morning at Winnfield General Hospital after a brief illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. John R. Hidgon [sic Higdon] of Dodson; two daughters, Mrs. Connie Faye Meeks of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Lynda Green of Dodson; one sister, Mrs. Ola Gates of Dodson; four step children; four grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.
